Loren Page was born in Greene County, Indiana, on January 25, 1924. He graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's and master's degree in education. In 1959, he was appointed to be the first principal of the newly built Dyer Junior High School, now Tri-North Middle School, where he served for 14 years. He has been a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church for 68 years. He has two children: David of Michigan and Patty Maclean of Bloomington.
