SCIENTIFIC CURIOSITY Bloomington, Indiana, November 22-A remarkable case of the preservation of a corpse has just been developed at Clear Creek Station four miles south of here. The body of the wife of Mr. James Campbell, who was buried on her father's farm in the common soil of the locality in an ordinary wooden casket twenty years ago, was being exhumed for the purpose of removal to the churchyard when the weight of the coffin induced them to open it, and the body was found apparently as sound as on the day on interment, the features being natural and perfect.
