Showers, president of the Citizens Loan & Trust Co., who was so brutally beaten by a burglar in his home a few weeks ago, was down town yesterday for the first time since the assault, and is feeling quite well again, and apparently has received no permanent injuries. Mrs. Showers is also quite well. As yet there has not been the least clue as to who the robber was, and no trace whatever of the valuable diamond ring. Constance T.
