Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Progress, February 14, 1872, p. 3. REV. J. W. DAVIS, the pastor of the African M. E. Church, in Bloomington, Ind., is the authorized agent of the Trustees of said church. He is calling upon the people for help to meet a payment now due on said church. The members of this congregation are poor, but willing to give according to ability. They should receive the help of all liberal people. Persons subscribing will confer a favor by paying down, or as soon as possible, as all sums paid will be credited on the note and thus stop the accumulation of interest. The colored people got a good bargain in the purchase of this house; the deferred payments are on long time, and only at six per cent interest. No fears need be entertained about the house reverting to the original owners. Rev. JOHN J. HIGHT, Rev. JOHN H. KETCHAM, Rev. CYRUS NUTT, Rev. A. Y. MOORE. Constance T.
