    3. Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Progress, February 14, 1872, p. 3. J. W. SHOEMAKER- Shoemaker now goes it alone, in the Drug business, having dispensed with a partner, and of course can afford to sell a shade or two lower. He still retains FARIS, who is indispensible in the prescription department, as all know him to be a No. 1 Druggist, and as reliable as a man can well be. The good old Union Drug Store is bound to win despite all opposition, and the customers will multiply until they are as sands upon the sea shore. You bet. Constance T. Shotts, Ed.D., CG(SM) CG and Certified Genealogist are Service Marks of the Board for Certification of Genealogists, used under license by board certificants after periodic evaluations by the Board and the board name is a trademark registered in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
