    3. Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) World Star, March 7, 1930, p. 8. OBTAIN LONG TIME LEASE ON PROPERTY Plans for the erection of a modern mercantile building in the campus business section of the city were made public Thursday when Peter S. Costas, senior member of the Book Nook confectionary firm, announced that his firm had acquired a 90-year-lease on the Florence Bradfute property at the corner of Kirkwood Avenue and Indiana. The lease was for $2,500 to $3,000 a year. It is the second 90-year-lease in Bloomington's business history. Mr. Costas hinted Thursday that he and his brothers, who are members of the firm, plan to erect a building to house several mercantile businesses on the corner. Details of the project have not yet been announced. The corner property is considered one of the best business locations outside of the downtown section in the city. The Costas brothers have been tenants of Mrs. Bradfute for more than seven years and have built two shops on property leased from her.
