Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Weekly Star, February 29, 1924, p. 6. Smithville Albert Jacobs has sold his residence property on east side of Main Street to Likens Littell. Albert Jacobs has purchased the 30-acre farm of James H. Burkhart east of town. Theodore Kietzer has purchased the 35-acre farm from Oscar Deckard at Ramp Creek. James H. Burkhart and Likens Littell will move to Smithville right away, and Albert Jacobs will move out to the farm that he has purchased. Oscar Deckard will move near Sanders. Roy Hill moved to Smithville on Tuesday from his mother's farm, and on the same day Zeke Hill moved to his mother's farm. James Ketchem (consider Ketcham a spelling variant), who recently bought the old Thrasher farm near Smithville, has moved to his property.
