Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Telephone, October 24, 1893, p. 1. Judge George G. Wright, class 1839, Indiana University, and with perhaps one exception its oldest graduate, celebrated his golden wedding at Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 19th. On the same day his son, T. S. Wright and wife, celebrated their silver wedding-the 25th anniversary. The Iowa papers publish accounts of the celebration as one of the socials events of the State. Scores of relatives and friends were present who were rejoicing with ex-Senator Wright and his wife that the golden milestone had been reached, and that it found the venerable couple in moderately good health. The Telephone and a host of friends of Judge Wright in Indiana University join in congratulations over this happy occasion. The ex-Senator was president of the Alumni Association last year.
