Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Telephone, October 17, 1893, p. 1. The change in the city building, so that the horses for the fire engine can be kept by the city, is about completed. The team is kept just back of the engine, and the doors are so arranged that when the alarm is given the doors open, and the horses, where properly trained will walk to their place. The harness will also be fixed above so as to fall on the backs of the horses, and a few snaps will make all ready to go to the fire. Constance T.
