I apologize for there not being any posts to the INMonroe list for the last week or so. You may be aware that Ancestry.com, who also operates the rootsweb.com mailing lists, was hit by a DDoS attack last week. This kind of attack floods the company's servers with so many messages, demands for service, to the point that the servers crash. While ancestry.com was able to get back online late last week, it was only yesterday that the rootsweb site was back up and running. Findagrave, which is also operated by Ancestry.com, was also unavailable for several days, but is once again back on line. Randi and I will continue our usual practice of making daily posts to INMonroe now that servers are again available to accept and distribute the messages to subscribers. Connie Constance T.
