    1. [INMONROE] Shot Gun Said to Have Been Used by Bent Jones in Killing of Moody at Clerk's Office; Jones Pardoned at Trial
    2. Constance Shotts
    3. Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Telephone, October 27, 1893, p. 1. In giving the details of the trial and pardon of Bent Jones in the last issue, it might have been added that the shot gun that was introduced as evidence against Jones, is now at the clerk's office, where it has been since the trial. It is supposed to be the gun from which the shot was fired that killed Moody and is a double barreled weapon.
