Little Roy, son of Mat. & Rosa James, of this place, died of diphtheria last Saturday at his Grandpa Searings, near Carbon, Ind., aged 3 ½ years. Thomas Whisnand and Mrs. Hattie Cooper from here attended the funeral, which took place at Bridgeton, on Sunday. Roy’s little cousin, Ula Girton, near his age, died of the same disease the next day near the same place. Constance T.
