TO BUILD $125,000 GRADE SCHOOL HERE Dodds Property on Second Street to Be Site A grade school building to cost $125,000 will be erected as soon as a deal is closed for the Dodds homestead on West Second Street, according to an announcement made Thursday by the city school board. The site will be purchased from Morton C. Dodds, it was said. The building to be erected will accommodate pupils of the southwest section of the city. It will be modern, and the school board plans to let the architect's contract soon. The school board has been considering plans for the erection of the building for some time. Knowledge that grade schools in the city were crowded prompted the action.
