The grand jury has returned an indictment against Mrs. Jane McA'fee, in which she has been held for murder in the first degree. It will be recalled that about two months ago a son of Mrs. McA'fee and a man by the name of William Meadows got into a difficulty, and Mrs. McA'fee threw a stone and struck Meadows on the head, from the effects of which it is alleged he died a few weeks later. Mrs. McA'fee is a colored woman, and is now out on $2,000 bond signed by Judge Cunning and Dr Joe Rogers. Constance T.
