CITY COUNCIL Changes the Name of Gamble Street to Indiana Avenue The City Council met in regular session last night.Clerk Browning read a petition signed by a number of citizens on Gamble Street asking that the name of Gamble Street be changed to Indiana Avenue." On motion, the council decided to change the name of the street. It seems that a number of property owners on Gamble Street have been unable to rent their rooms to lady students on account of the name of the street.
