JAMES MEADOWS DIES FROM TUBERCULOSIS James Meadows, 48, died Saturday evening at 8:45 o'clock at his home, 505 South Maple Avenue, from tuberculosis with which he had been afflicted for about six months. Mr. Meadows had never married; he and his sister, Mrs. Corda Johnson, the only immediate relative, lived together in this city. The deceased was an iron inspector by occupation and had lived in this city only about six months, having come here from Bedford. Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock in the Patton Hill Church located between Bedford and Oolitic. Rev. Ira Akers of the Nazarene Church had charge.
