SCHOOL CASE MAY GO INTO ANOTHER TERM Attorneys involved in the Smithville School case today predicted that the case will not be concluded in this court term. The term ends next Saturday for Martin Circuit Court in Shoals where the case is being heard on a change of venue. Ben Jerrell, present trustee of Clear Creek Township, was on the witness stand all morning verifying residence in the township of persons who signed the petition asking closing of the school and transfer of pupils. Last Saturday, Arthur Burnham, leader of the petitioners, was in Bloomington having photostatic copies made of Clear Creek Township tax records assessed in 1953, payable 1954.
