NOTE: Portions of this item were obscured as noted by the ellipsis. .Sarah Finley, 72-year-old well-known resident, succumbed at 1:40 AM today at her home, 535 South Lincoln Street. Mrs. Finley had recently been brought home from the St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis and had been critically ill for several weeks. She was the widow of Patrick Finley who passed away three years ago. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Mary Short of Helmburt (consider Helmsburg as a spelling variant), Mrs. Martha Stephens of Monroe County, and Mrs. Sallie Stephens and Mrs. Herman Flynn both of this city; and four brothers, Lewis, William, Velva, John and Alex Stephens, all of Monroe County.
