George Thomas, a well-known colored man of this community, died at the poor asylum last night, aged about 66. He had been there for about three months, having become too infirm to care for himself. There are three brothers, Edward and William of this city and Robert Thomas of Crawfordsville, and a sister, Mrs. Lewis Miller of this city. Funeral at 10:30 Friday at Second Baptist Church in charge of Pastor Porter, and burial at Rose Hill.
