A stock company is being formed to buy the Methodist church, and move it across the street to a lot which can be purchased from Samuel Galloway, and fit the building up as a town hall. Our town is very much in need of something of this kind and in our opinion now is the accepted time to make an effort in this line. The church can be bought for much less than half its worth, and it is well adapted and can be arranged cheaply. The enterprise from a financial point will be a success, and local pride should prompt our citizens to subscribe liberally. Constance T.
