Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Courier, March 7, 1899, p. 2. Faris & Faris, the south side grocers, were unable to open for business yesterday on account of a deluge of water. The rear of the store was a veritable floating stream all day. When the rain commenced to fall it seemed to pour in on the store, on account of the opening caused in the roof above Summers' gallery. The goods were removed to the front of the room and only regular customers orders were filled. Constance T.
