Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Courier, March 7, 1899, p. 4. The embalmers of the city have received letters stating that they will have to take an examination in order to ship the body of a person who had died of a contagious disease. This measure was brought up before the State Legislature not long ago and was made a law. The examining board will convene in Indianapolis, Logansport and Washington and the day set for the examination is March 15.
