Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Weekly Star, August 9, 1919, p. 1. Family Stricken With Disease. Of several cases of typoid fever recently reported on [sic] of the worst is that of the family of Andy Fulford, Maple Heights. Four of the family of eight have been stricken with the disease, and all have been living in two rooms amid poverty. The case came under the notice of the Chamber of Commerce and local charity organization, and arrangements were made to move the family to the city hospital today.
