The last issue of the Salida, Coolrado [sic], Mail, says of Mike Guthrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Guthrie, of this city. Mike Guthrie, night operator at Mears Junction, has resigned his position and left yesterday for Salt Lake City where he has been tendered a position in the office of the Rio Grand Western road. Mr. Guthrie is one of the Hoosiers who knows how to succeed and during the four months past, in which he has made Salida head quarters, he has made many staunch friends and has given universal satisfaction to his employers and fellow workers.
