Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Courier, March 10, 1899, p. 4. Obituary. Death in its saddest form has claimed the soul of Isaac N. Fleener, trustee of Marion township. He was born November 29, 1847. Died March 5, 1899. He united with the Church of Christ when he was very young and was deacon of the church for a number of years. Deceased was married to Amanda Young, February, 1871, and to this union were born six children, five of whom are living as follows; Mrs. Michael Fleener, James Fleener, Mrs. Lizzie Young, John Fleener, Mary Fleener. Mr. Fleener was married to Miss Lydia A. Stewart, July 1889. Two children were the result of this marriage, Maud and Merle. He was a kind husband and an indulgent father. Constance T.
