    3. Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Courier, March 21, 1899, p. 2. A Happy Birthday Party. On last Wednesday that being the 76 birthday of Rev. M. C. Fulk of Park Indiana, his neighbors and friends to the number of sixty-five met at his house with all the good things to eat that the country afforded. By 12 the tables were loaded and dinner announced to which the oldest present were the first invited and so on until all had fully satisfied the innerman [sic]. By 2 p.m. the dinner was over when all were called to the front room of the house and after social chat there were sung some of the old songs of Zion. On request of Mr. Fulk the 71st Psalm was read and prayer offered, invoking the blessings of God on the aged couple, the family and friends. With a heart full of devotion to God and all mankind, Mr. Fulk spoke in a feeling manner to all advising faith in God and love to each other, an honest and upright life in all things. This ended a day of real joy and good wishes for Mr. Fulk and his aged wife that they might live to see many returns of his birthday. A FRIEND. Constance T.
