Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Telephone, October 31, 1893, p. 4. A number of citizens of the county interested in the People's party are formulating plans for the establishment of a paper here. To that end correspondence is being conducted with C. E. Bullington, of Hardinsburg, Ind., who offers to come here and start a paper if 20 citizens will guarantee him $600 in subscriptions, or 600 subscribers at a $1 a year. Fourteen of the 20 to make up the guarantee fund have been secured. Mr. Bullington now publishes a paper called the "People's Champion" at Hardinsburg. Constance T.
