After a strike of three days, Monon shop men returned to work at the Monon yards Tuesday, following the decision of the other workmen of the road to remain at their tasks until the matter of increased wages is acted upon by the government. Local mechanics are asking a raise of from 68 to 85 cents an hour, with helpers asking a raise from 45 to 60 cents.
