John Glimpse, who moved from Limestone to Bloomington several years ago and while living here was stricken with paralysis, died Thursday evening at Kirksville, Mo., where he had been taking osteopathic treatment and was thought to be recovering entirely from the effects of the paralytic stroke. At the time he was stricken it was not thought that he could live, but he finally got a little better and the Knights of Pythias of Bedford, of which order he was a member, sent him to Kirksville, where he improved rapidly for a time. He was able to walk around and came back to Bloomington and Bedford on a visit returning again to Kirksville, where he died Thursday. His remains arrived at Bedford yesterday, but it is not yet known whether the burial will be at Popcorn, where his wife's folks reside, or at Harrodsburg, where his mother is buried and where he formerly lived.
