Ralph Burton of Bedford, who was returned to the Reformatory by Judge Martin Tuesday, and who escaped, was captured by detectives at Mitchell yesterday. The Marshall of Mitchell will be given the $250 reward offered by the Judge. Wes Walker, marshall of Mitchell, and Perry Gilbert, his deputy, are the men who captured Burton. Walker located the fellow yesterday while hunting and last night by a roundabout road went to the home of Toll Howell about a mile north of Mitchell. Of course the presence of Burton was denied, but the officers were certain they had run their game to earth. A search of the house developed Burton folded up and stored away in a small closet. Two officers with big guns were too much for him so he crawled out and gave up. Burton said he was to have received money from his grand-father and by morning would have been on his way to Montana.
