Prosecutor Miller did not find any of the assailants upon his arrival in Harrodsburg, and as yet no one has been arrested.
Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Courier, March 10, 1899, p. 4. Obituary. Death in its saddest form has claimed the soul of Isaac N. Fleener, trustee of Marion township. He was born November 29, 1847. Died March 5, 1899. He united with the Church of Christ when he was very young and was deacon of the church for a number of years. Deceased was married to Amanda Young, February, 1871, and to this union were born six children, five of whom are living as follows; Mrs. Michael Fleener, James Fleener, Mrs. Lizzie Young, John Fleener, Mary Fleener. Mr. Fleener was married to Miss Lydia A. Stewart, July 1889. Two children were the result of this marriage, Maud and Merle. He was a kind husband and an indulgent father. Constance T. Mrs. James Robinson died at seven o'clock yesterday morning at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ousler, north College avenue. Death ensued after a week's illness of Gastro enteritic [sic], or inflammation of the stomach and bowels. Estella May was united in marriage to James Robinson fifteen months ago. Three week's ago a bright baby blessed their union, and now death has laid its icy hand upon the mother. The father and motherless child are left to mourn alone. In his sad bereavement the father will have the sympathy of the whole county. Mrs. Robinson was born in Lawrence county and was 20 years old. The funeral will take place at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ousler. Rev. Allison will conduct the service and the remains will be temporarily placed in the vault at Rose Hill. Constance T. The embalmers of the city have received letters stating that they will have to take an examination in order to ship the body of a person who had died of a contagious disease. This measure was brought up before the State Legislature not long ago and was made a law. The examining board will convene in Indianapolis, Logansport and Washington and the day set for the examination is March 15.

His Co. left for Cuba a few days ago, and he could have re-enlisted but his health was so impaired he concluded the zero weather of Indiana was more invigorating than the humid heat of the antilles [sic].
Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Courier, March 7, 1899, p. 4. W. B. Miller, for the Continental Insurance Co., yesterday satisfactorily adjusted the loss of the May hotel building at Ellettsville, which was damaged in the Worley building fire last week.

Fryhofer, cashier of the bank at Ellettsville, is at the head of a Movement to have an opera house erected in that town.-The Farm says: "A project is now on foot to provide an opera house for this place that is likely to succede [sic]. A stock company is being formed to buy the Methodist church, and move it across the street to a lot which can be purchased from Samuel Galloway, and fit the building up as a town hall. Our town is very much in need of something of this kind and in our opinion now is the accepted time to make an effort in this line. The church can be bought for much less than half its worth, and it is well adapted and can be arranged cheaply. The enterprise from a financial point will be a success, and local pride should prompt our citizens to subscribe liberally. Constance T. Mr. Mergentheimer will arrive from Cincinnati today and the family will go to housekeeping the last of the week in the A. K. Helton property, north College avenue.
