He married Sarah Jane ANDIS b 9 March 1858 in Martin County, Indiana. Sarah Jane ANDIS 1st married Jesse SHROUT in 1874 and they had a son Leroy Sheridan Shrout. Jesse died and she married James C. Queen in 1881 in Daviess County Indiana. They had two children Elva Elizabeth QUEEN and Jacob Melvin QUEEN. Elva was my great great grandmother. James Queen died around 1886/1887 have not been able to find where he is buried or his exact date of death. Sarah then married Jessie James HOLT and they had three boys who were born in I assume Daviess County Indiana Frances, Elbert, and Seigle "Chester". They moved to Tulsa Oklahoma around 1900. I would like to find out more information regarding Jacob Melvin Queen - if he ever married and had children. Someone has told me that they thought Sarah was Indian, but I know back then people did not want to admit that so I don't know if there is a way to prove that or not.
