Also, would you have any idea how I can find out what happened to my gr-gr grandfather, Jacob Yoder? He was the son of Jonathan S. Yoder and Mary Plank. Jonathan S(olomon?) Yoder died in Daviess Co bef 1880. Mary Plank Yoder died in Gypsun, Saline Co, KS 2 Jul 1907 (at home of her dau Susanna Peterson). I have pictures of Jacob and he does not dress Amish, although his family was very strong Amish all the way back to Berks Co, PA. Jacob married Nancy Mary (Angeline?) Yount 14 Feb 1872 in Daviess Co. He m2 Barbara Keller 6 Sept 1884 in Daviess Co. Jacob and Nancy had three known children and I'm trying to clear a mystery on a 4th: Grover C. Yoder (talk has it he was in prison) m. Lillie _____ Maria Angeline Yoder (Mary) m. John Hillary Mattingly; m2 LeRoy Coward Effie m. ___Guess Alice?? (Alcie?) Mary Yoder Mattingly Coward was my gr-grandma, she died in 1952.
