Posted on: Martin Co. In Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/In/Martin/10113 Surname: Hedrick, Headrick, Tinker, Turnbow, Turnbo, Turnbough ------------------------- I am looking for any kind of record that mentions Isaac Hedrick (possibly born c:~1800) or his wife Polly. There is an IN marriage licence dated Jun 1822 for Isaac Headrick and Polly Tinker, but we can't seem to find anything else. We know there was an Isaac living in Martin Co, IN during the 1830 Census with a woman under 30 and 3 children under 10, which would be their correct ages. I was hoping someone might have mention of him in a family bible or will somewhere, perhaps even being a witness to something. The only son we know of between them is John Hedrick b: May 1823 in IN. We have lots of information about John, but nothing about his parents or siblings. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty sure they were from southern Indiana, so I would like to post them to Daviess and Martin Co lists. Thanks. Or maybe there is someone who would post them somewhere in that area? Sherfick, (b 12/12/1886) son of John H. Sherfick and Rachel J. Waggoner (m 11/11/1877 in Martin County). Married Eliza Allbright (b 2/1/1892) on 11/17/1910. She was the daughter of Thomas V. Allbright and Eliza Blevins. They had five children Paul R., John P. (b 1/17/1911), Wilma J. (b 5/11/1912), Charles (b 3/3/1914), and William (b 3/3/1914). William D. also had a sister Grace A. (b 7/22/1883). My connection to Sherfick is through my gg-uncle Charles W. LeMasters who married Effie B. Sherfick on 7/29/1909 in Martin Co. I don't have any connection between Effie and William D. yet. Whenever I came across a Sherfick in the Martin Co. area I wrote it down. I have a few other unconnected Sherficks in my database if you are interested. I can e-mail you the source of this data if you wish. Most of them are from various Martin Co. birth and marriage indexes. Also if you have a connection between my Effie and your William D., I would appreciate it.
