My grandparents Leroy and Myra Carey both married a second time between 1935 and 1942, and I have not been able to find the marriages. I stopped at the City-County building last year when I was in Indianapolis and checked the marriage index in the archives in the basement of the building, but I didn't find the marriages. Can anyone suggest somewhere else to check? Would people during that period have sometimes gone to another county? If so, which one? Mark Carey
