I very much appreciate the references below, and would love to have the longer article about the marriage. Yes, I do have the Chicago Tribune obituary. I thought there might be something in the Indianapolis newspaper also, but perhaps not. I recently found in the probate record that the remains were sent to Indianapolis. Perhaps William was buried in a Thompson plot (Myrtle's maiden name was Thompson). Did Indianapolis have city directories for 1943 and after? Thanks again. I presume you have already seen William Thomas Damewood's obit in the Chicago Tribune. I found a few references to them in the Indianapolis Star which you might like to see. There was also a longer article for the marriage of a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sivley, which the Damewoods attended and lists the guests. Would you like to see that also? _________________________________________________________________ THE INDIANAPOLIS STAR, Sunday, February 25, 1912; pg. 31 Mrs. Myrtle Damewood of Chicago re- turned Thursday after a weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Silvey. __________________________________________________________________ THE INDIANAPOLIS STAR, Sunday, October 17, 1915; pg. 49 Mrs. William Damewood of Chicago is vis- iting Mr. and Mrs. Charles Silvey and other relatives for a few weeks. __________________________________________________________________ - Ed ==== INMARION Mailing List ==== Check out the Marion County InGenWeb site at Marion County, Indiana GenWeb ==== INMARION Mailing List ==== Post a Query, or other information of your Marion County, Indiana Ancestor ----------------------------------------------------- Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail transmission may contain confidential or legally privileged information that is intended only for the individual or entity named in the e-mail address.
