DJ, you really brought back some wonderful memories of our old hometown. One of my fondest memories was Thanksgiving day. We could hardly wait until dinner was over, with all the great foods. Dad would take us downtown where we would wait with anticipation in front of the old Ayres windows for them to unveil the most magical animated Christmas scenes in the world, that unveiling was the beginning of the Christmas season for us. When Dad had his cerebral hemorrhage when I was small, my older brothers and sisters continued the tradition. We loved to ice skate at Lake Sullivan and could hardly wait each year until the ice was thick enough. Thanks for bringing back all the fond memories.
