Additional Piel information: Lola M. Bruns, 91, a resident of Greenfield died on Monday, September 2, 2002 at Greenfield, Indiana. She was born May 22, 1911 in Tipton County Indiana and was the child of the late William C. Piel and the late Elva (Coverberger) Piel. She was retired in 1974 from Color Craft of Indianapolis where she was a warehouse supervisor. She was a member of the Mary Martha Society and a former 4-H Leader in Marion County. She graduated in 1929 from Tipton High School. She was married to the late Herman Carl Bruns. Ms. Bruns is survived by daughter Marilyn Rothkopf of Greenfield; sister Muriel Kleiman of New Palestine; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by daughter Elinor Gambrell, sister: Juanita Barthel and brother: Donald Piel. Services for Ms. Bruns are scheduled for Friday, September 6th at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church officiated by Pastor David Koeneman. Calling will be at the Pasco Memorial Mortuary on Thursday, September 5th from 4 to 8 p.m.. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
