Joyce Almedia Evans was born in Saline County, IL. I'm not sure when she moved to Indianapolis but she had a daughter out of wedlock. The daughter died when she was young. Almedia ran a restuarant in the 1940's. She had no relatives in Indianapolis. She died, probably, in the late 1940's. She was penniless and in a nursing home at the time of her death. I would like to find out how I can obtain a death certificate or proof, in some way, of her death. Or perhaps, a record of her daughter's birth or death. Do you or anyone else have any suggestions?
