Hi Nan, Thanks for looking, I appreciate it. I guess it was a long shot. I have notes from Oscar's sister that say he died May 3,1950, and that he was born May 3,1871. I have no proof, yet, of either date, but I imagine the dod is incorrect. The 1900 census says he was born May 1972 which is close enough to Mary's notes. I have Oscar in the 1930 IN census with wife Annie but after that I have nothing. Maybe he's buried at Holy Cross Cem. where his parents are. I'll check on this some more. And thanks for the listings from Crown Hill. Interesting, yes. Neither would be the one I'm looking for but quite possibly they are Uncles or cousins of my Oscar. The marriage records are considered public records but the birth and death records after 1922 are considered confidential.
