I tried Ancestry, the SSDI, & the Marion Co Rootsweb page. No luck. I was speaking with a new-found distant cousin. She's 85 and has had a stroke. She gives me what bits and pieces she can remember. Her uncle, Jesse (Jess) William Blackburn was married to Flossie (Kesselring) and lived sort of north, around Castleton in 1958. She said her son was 2 and kept messing around with "Uncle Jess's" walker. She can't remember when he died except some time after that. He was a carpenter and then a farmer, so that's probably why there was no entry in the SSDI. Is there any type of IN death index that goes from 1958 to the early 1960's?
