I am looking for info on the parentage of Amasa Inman, believe born Smithfield, R.I. June 2, 1795; m. Catherine Baldwin, April 11, 1819; both buried in Lewis Cemetery, Town of Granby, Oswego Coounty, NY. their son was Albert Amasa Inman, b. April 10, 1826, Franfort, NY. Family lore has it Amasa may have been descended from Edward Inman, who was in Providence, RI in 1651. Is anyone out there interested in this line? Thanks.
