This is another brainstorm. The Lazarus Inman Christiana sued by was Lazarus (brother of Samuel and son of Meshach), who lived in Williamson county at that period of time. I imagine that women just couldn't go into court and file lawsuits in the early 1800s--they probably needed to have someone sign for them, etc. If Hezekiah and Ezekiel were brothers and Samuel and Lazarus were sons of Meshach (a son of Ezekiel), then Samuel and Henry of Burke County (1790), were cousins. The Abraham and Edward names are intriguing, however. An Abraham Inman was transported into Westmoreland County in the 1650s--some researchers have proposed that he was the brother of Edward Inman of Rhode Island???? Perhaps the Rhode Island Inmans and the NC Inmans were closer than previously suggested???? Just a thought.
