    3. You really have my interest with all of this. I found Henry Inman on the 1790 Census for Burke County listed immediately below Samuel Inman. I also see in your message that you have seen Samuel Inman listed as one of Hezekiah Inman's sons. It was long thought that this Samuel Inman was the son of Meshach. However, in view of what you have submitted--this is what I have: 1. The Samuel Inman/Henry Inman connection I already mentioned on the 1790 Census for Burke County. 2. While digging through the records of Perry County, TN, I found an 1820 Petition that was filed by several members of the community. Samuel and "Ike" Inman signed that petition. "Ike" is probably a nickname for Hezekiah. I don't know whether I have anything on a Hyatt Inman. I'm open to suggestion and don't mind changing my genealogical charts. It has always bothered me because I haven't been able to find more information on Meshach Inman, although there is plenty of information available on Shadrach and Abednego. There is also a persistant story among my Spences that Elizabeth Inman (Samuel's daughter--Rebecca Elizabeth Inman) had some German blood. I'm convinced that it comes from an intermarriage. There was a large German community that settled in Rowan County and this German person must have come from that community. Now, there must be some connection between Hezekiah and Abednego--half brothers perhaps??? I think that I have heard this suggested. I'm interested in your Samuel/Wyatt-as-sons-of-Hezekiah source. Henry and Samuel may have been brothers--or they may have been cousins if Samuel was really a son of Meshach. This is intriguing. I would like to know more.
