Union,Aug.19 George Inman 63,died this morning at the Wallace Thompson Hospital after a 2 day illness. He is survived by his wife Mamie ( Vaughan ) Inman: 4 sons, J.C. Inman of Jonesville ,Sam Inman of Buffalo ,Frank Inman of Greenville ,and PFC James Hay Fant Inman(sr.)of the U.S. Army stationed at Greenville Army Air Base: 2 daughters ,Mrs.Davis Robertson of Kings Mountain(N.C.)and Mrs. Chandler Chambers of Buffalo,S.C.: his father ,John Inman of Kelton: one sister,Mrs.Mary Inman of Kelton: 4 brothers ,Will Inman of route 4 ,King Inman of Newberry, Smith Inman of Monarch and Melvin Inman of Whitmire :and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tuesday afternoon at 4 at Phillipi Baptist Church ,with the Revs. L.G.Corder, James D.Gulledge and J.J.Sparks officiating/ . Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Cheek, Will Bradburn, Irby Spillers, Robert Price, Harold Lawson, and Hobart Inman. The body will rermain at the home on Cottage Avenue until the hour of services. The Edgar Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
