Mrs. Vinson was born in Kelton on April 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Sue Inman. She was retired from Pacolet Mills and was a member of Scull Shoals Baptist Church. Mrs. Vinson was first married to the late Ernest Inman, Sr. Surviving are five daughters, Alice Smith and Gail Kirby both of Gaffney, Laura Jeanette Bradburn and Kathy Ingle both of Union and Alma Durham of Pacolet; three sons, Ernest Inman,Jr. of Union, Larry Inman and Allan Inman both of Chesnee six sisters,Mary Sue Wynn of Greenwood, Sadie McNeel of Norfolk, Va., Carrie Austin and Bertha Vernon of Union, Betty Ruth Cobb of Cobbtown, Ga., Daisy Whitted of Sevierville, Tenn.; five brothers, Charles Inman Of Hender-son, N.C., Tiny Inman of Crosby, Tenn., Henry Inman of Angier , N.C., Willie Inman of Gastonia, N.C. and John Ray Inman of Chester; 31 grandchildren; and 24 great-grand-children. Mrs. Vinson was predeceased by the following children, Patsy Inman, Jimmy (Shorty) Inman, Ted Inman, Eddie Dean Inman and Steven Inman. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Scull Shoals Baptist Church by the Rev. Randy Phillips and the Rev. Chris Norris. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Rusty Parker, James Ray Atkins,. Charles Atkins, Sammy Walker, Brad Robinson and Dale Robinson The body will be carried to the home Thursday at 2 p.m. and will be placed in the Church Friday. at 2 p.m. to await the hour of service. The family is at the home; 108 Keenan Ave., Union The S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
