Hi Phil, No Swinfords in the 1910 X-ray, but then there is not a list of underclasspersons....only the graduates. It is a very tiny yearbook. There are also no Wertz in it. In the History of Madison Co. book, so far I have found a David Werts and a William Wert who were both in the Civil War. Could either of these be your family? By the way, I was born and raised in Muncie, too! Graduated from Muncie Central H.S. in 1962. My Dad graduated from Central in 1929.
