He died Sept. 20, 1914 in Anderson, Madison Co., IN and is buried in the Bocco cemetery. In about 1855 The Hoppes family, that later settled in Anderson, and Edmond were in Nebraska. Henry Hoppes's daughter Delphia married Edmond. The next time we find Edmond, he is in the Civil War. When the War was over Edmond and Delphia moved to Anderson, IN. They had many Children, some are listed here: Gertrude, Harv., Hurrell, Ike, Jack, Jane, Ledger, Mary E., Albert, George, and Cora M.. >> Steve, I have several members of the Hoppes family at the cemetery I adopted (Zion Chapel Cem, Delaware Co IN). George Washington Hoppes, the great grandson of Daniel (brother to Henry) and some of his family are buried there. This may be a ways from what you are looking for, but I thought I'd throw it in. There are no LANE surnames there. Jennifer Lewis [email protected] [email protected] http://hometown.aol.com/lewisjl/myhomepage/heritage.html
