Im sure the story has been distorted through time. whenI finally figure out the story the guy she married will probably end up being a cousin of a cousin of a brother of the cousin of the chief ,LOL. I am having trouble finding her immigration records so I am trying to work backwards. All I know about her for sure is that she was born Berthe Marie Hansdtr. Sept. 14 1882 in Hadeland Gran, Norway the rest is hear say. My uncle tells me she is buried in Anderson .
