The Madison county name that I am researching is HUSTON. Samuel HUSTON and wife Sarah (Sally) WERTS moved to Madison county ca 1840 from Wayne County, IN. Prior to that they lived for many years in Preble county OH. Both were born in PA in the 1790s and married in Preble Co. They moved to Henry county, IN in the early 1870s. I'm having a major computer problem so can't be more specific at this time with full dates (am using a friend's computer to download my e-mail, but can't get into my files). I'm researching OHLER, KENDEL, BRUMFIELD in Madison and Tipton Counties. I have one elusive great uncle, William Ervin Ohler, whom I've not been able to track down past the census inTipton County where he was 11 years old. After that, we know he was in Madison County because my grandfather and his twin were born in Madison County in November 1880.
